What is it?

Waypoint is a chill flying game where you pilot small aircraft around mountain valleys, completing simple missions and exploring at your own pace. Think Microsoft Flight Simulator's Discovery Missions, but in a cozy, self-contained world.

You start with a basic plane and earn money by flying cargo deliveries, giving scenic tours, and helping out mountain communities. Use that money to buy better aircraft, upgrade your engines, and expand your little aviation business.

Flying

The flight model is realistic but forgiving. You'll use proper controls like throttle, flaps, and landing gear, but the game won't punish you for imperfect technique. If you have a Logitech flight yoke and throttle quadrant, the game supports them fully. If not, keyboard and mouse work fine too.

Sessions last about an hour - enough time for a few missions and some free exploration. Perfect for unwinding after work.

The World

You're based in a mountain valley with several airstrips scattered around. Some are paved airports serving small towns, others are grass strips tucked into remote meadows. The terrain varies from easy lakeside approaches to challenging mountain strips that test your skills.

Weather changes throughout the day, and the lighting can be genuinely beautiful during golden hour flights.

Missions

All missions are low-stress:

• Deliver supplies to remote airstrips
• Transport passengers between towns
• Take photographers on scenic flights
• Help with search and rescue (no one's actually in danger)
• Run mail between communities

Each mission pays differently based on distance and difficulty. No timers, no failure states - just flying.

Aircraft

Start with a simple trainer and work up to more capable planes. Each aircraft handles differently - some are great for short grass strips, others excel at longer cargo runs. You can upgrade engines for better performance or add cargo pods for bigger payloads.
